Wey was licensed as KN8EAB in 1957.  He is a veteran of Caribbean DXpeditions: 6Y5, FS/, J6/, PJ6A, J79, J38, and 8P9. 

He holds 7-Band DXCC, WAZ, WAC, and WAS awards, and currently has 306 DXCC entities.  A-1 Op, Life Member ARRL, and Vice President of the Southeastern DX Club.
